Effective date September 10, 2026 · Version 1.0 · Supersedes all prior versions

1. Who we are

Paradise Express Card is a commercial fuel card and fleet services program for United States motor carriers, operated by Paradise Express Inc. (“Paradise Express”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in Wyoming with its principal place of business at 4200 S Poplar Street, Suite 5, Casper, WY 82601.

Fuel card processing is provided in partnership with EFS, and card issuance and settlement services are provided by our issuing partners. Those partners handle some data as independent controllers under their own privacy policies.

2. Who this policy covers

This policy applies to:

  • visitors to paradiseexpress.us and our customer web portal and mobile app;
  • motor carriers, owner-operators and their authorized representatives who apply for or hold a Paradise Express Card;
  • people we contact by telephone or text message about the program.

Paradise Express Card is a business-to-business program. We do not knowingly market to consumers, and our services are not directed to individuals acting outside a commercial trucking context.

3.2 Information we collect automatically

  • Call recordings and transcripts. We record and transcribe telephone calls with us, both inbound and outbound. See section 5.
  • Card and transaction data. Date, location, gallons, price, discount per gallon, final amount, card and driver for each fuel purchase.
  • Portal and app usage. IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, session timestamps, and cookies as described in section 11.

3.3 Information from other sources

  • Public motor carrier records. We use the FMCSA registry and other public carrier authority records, including published business telephone numbers, to identify and verify motor carriers.
  • Purchased and licensed business contact lists. We obtain business contact data from third-party data suppliers. We require suppliers to represent that the data was lawfully collected, and we screen it before use as described in our Do Not Call and Consent Policy.
  • Identity verification. Plaid Inc. verifies applicant identity and, where you authorize it, connects your bank account.
  • Credit reporting agencies. For credit line applications we obtain a credit report from TransUnion and Equifax. For owner-operators and fleets up to five trucks this is a soft inquiry that does not affect your credit score.

We do not purchase or use consumer marketing lists, and we do not buy mobile telephone numbers for text-message marketing.

4. How we use your information

We use personal information to:

  1. verify that an applicant is an active motor carrier and is authorized to act for that business;
  2. underwrite, issue, service and settle fuel cards and credit lines;
  3. process funding, transactions, invoices and repayments;
  4. provide fleet services, IFTA filing support and EFS money codes;
  5. provide customer support in your preferred language;
  6. contact motor carriers about the program by telephone, and by text message only where we have the consent described in section 6;
  7. train and quality-review our staff and our automated calling agent using call recordings and transcripts;
  8. detect and prevent fraud, misuse and unauthorized card activity;
  9. maintain records required by law, by our partners, and by telecommunications regulations, including consent and opt-out records;
  10. comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.

We do not use your information for automated decisions that produce legal effects without human involvement. Credit decisions are made by our verification team, not solely by an algorithm.

5. Calls: recording, transcription and automated agents

We want to be direct about this, because it is unusual enough to deserve its own section.

Our outbound calls may be placed and conducted by an automated voice agent. The agent speaks conversationally rather than playing a pre-recorded message. It states the program name at the start of the call and gives a callback path. If you ask whether you are speaking to a person or to an AI, the agent will tell you it is an AI.

All calls are recorded and transcribed. Recording begins at the start of the call. A notice is given, and where the law of your state requires the consent of all parties to a recording, continuing the call after that notice is how consent is given. If you do not wish to be recorded, tell us and we will end the call or arrange another channel.

We honour a stop request on the word. You do not need to write to us, quote a reference, or repeat yourself. Saying “stop calling”, “take me off your list”, or anything to that effect during a call causes your number to be suppressed immediately and permanently. See our Do Not Call and Consent Policy.

Recordings and transcripts are used to service your account, resolve disputes, review quality, improve the agent, and evidence consent and opt-out requests. They are retained as described in section 9.

6. Text messages

We send text messages only to numbers where we have the recipient’s consent, captured at the point the number is given to us and logged with a timestamp and the wording shown at the time. Message frequency varies by account activity. Message and data rates may apply.

Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for assistance. Opt-out is immediate and permanent.

We do not sell, rent, or share consent or opt-in data, or mobile telephone numbers, with third parties for their own marketing purposes. Consent given to Paradise Express Card is used by Paradise Express Card only.

7. When we share information

We share personal information only as set out below. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA). You have the right to know what we collect and why, to access and delete personal information, to correct inaccuracies, to opt out of sale or sharing — we do neither — and to limit the use of sensitive personal information. You may not be discriminated against for exercising these rights. You may use an authorized agent. We verify requests against information already in our records before acting on them.

11. Cookies

Our website and portal use cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary to sign you in and keep your session secure, and analytics cookies that help us understand how the portal is used. We do not use advertising cookies and we do not permit third-party advertising trackers on our portal. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent the portal from working.

12. Security

We protect information with encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access control, least-privilege access for staff, audit logging of access to recordings and account data, and periodic review of our controls. Sensitive financial credentials are collected through our secure application, never verbally over the telephone — our agents will refuse a Social Security number, card number, or bank credential read aloud on a call.

No system is perfectly secure. If a breach affects your personal information we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

13. Children

Our services are for businesses and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, write to privacy@paradiseexpress.us and we will delete it.

14. Changes to this policy

We will post any change on this page and update the “last updated” date. If a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will give notice by email or through the portal before it takes effect.
